Clay Bowls
Let's play with clay and make something beautiful!
Supplies
Air dry clay. Rolling pin. Parchment paper. Acrylic paint. Fan paintbrush by Zibra.
Step 1
Use parchment paper to roll out the clay in a flat, even sheet. Create one roll-out of clay per bowl you are making.
Step 2
Use a bowl as your mold, lay clay over bottom of bowl. Use two different sized bowls.
Step 3 and 4
Let dry for two or three days, making sure to occasionally check on the bowls and unsticking clay from the bowl you are using as a mold.
Using acrylic paint and the Zibra fan brush, paint the bowls. Be sure to seal with a clear coat.
Finishing Touches
I loved how these turned out! My organic black and white clay bowl is going to look perfect on the bookshelf with the black and white framed prints!
